Intumescent coatings swell under heat exposure to form an insulating char that delays structural failure. NoFire A18 (Class A, UL, rated to 2000°F) and Polyflex 53 FM (fire + waterproofing in one) cover the spec range from electrical cable trays through structural steel to wooden substrates.
